Deep Water Soloing, a new and upcoming challenge, is simply soloing above deep water where if you were to fall you would land in the sea. For many advanced climbers, this is the ultimate challenge.

No gear, no ropes, pure freedom and a whole lot of thrill.

There are a large number of areas accessible from low-level traverses, from a boat or by swimming. Many sea cliffs are uncharted so that plenty of lines are waiting to be attempted. Deep Water Soloing is best in the summer month from June to November, when the sea is warm and inviting.
