Team building challenges

At Gozo Adventures we understand that in order to provide successful team building events there must be fun and excitement in a goal orientated environment. We offer a number of different standard events, but are also happy to work closely with our clients in order to create custom itineraries. The unique landscapes of the Maltese islands are a natural playground, spoiled by the sun, surrounded by crystal clear waters and steeped in history, culture and tradition. A great back drop for any team building event!

Tower Siege One of the most prominent remains of Maltese history are the watch towers – a constant reminder of the heroic story of the great siege of Malta. This event asks clients to lay siege to a tower, demonstrate skills in jousting, build siege machinery and scale walls in order to succeed. Activities included • Kayak jousting • Team building games • Rope ladder climbing	Scrap Heap Challenge Teams have limited time to scavenge and negotiate for parts in order to build a go-cart. On completion of this exercise, they then build their own cart and the teams race against each other. This is an exciting team building game that will show the importance of communication within a group as well as negotiation and delegations skills.
Return to the Roots Remember spending hours challenging your friends with games that are now long forgotten? This event is packed with opportunities to rediscover your roots with popular games brought back to life in one of the most eco friendly locations on Gozo: Ta Mena Estate. Try your hand at Bocci and Brilli, two traditional Gozitan games still played on the island. Or brush up your childhood spinning tops and marbles skills. Make your way up into the vineyards and enjoy a proper game of bows and arrows with our archery targets located between the vines. Not challenging enough? How about a sack race or a thrilling go-cart ride down the hill of the Estate!	Collage This team building game demonstrates the importance of everyone within the group and is designed to show how each individual has a part to play to achieve a common goal. Participants paint parts of different locations around the island. Each team has to do their best to paint as precisely as possible the work of art they are being presented so when their work comes together, they should fit into one cohesive recognisable image.
Raft Building Participants are stranded on an island and must build a raft if they wish to escape! Ropes, barrels, planks and accessories are provided. Initiative and communication skills are required as the team works together to design and build a raft. Time is limited so working on a schedule will also be part of the challenge. Each team member will have to take a role whether it is design, building or paddling! Teams will have to ensure that the raft can float safely with two to four people on board and race against other team on shallow waters!
