Special events

Throughout the year the Maltese islands are alive with cultural events. These range from large scale carnivals held in February, wine and beer festivals, music and art festivals and exhibitions. The islands are also often used for film productions. At Gozo Adventures we like to give a taste of these events and productions by visiting the key locations and recreating the atmosphere.

Movie Maker Ever dreamt of being a movie director or Hollywood actor? This event is the chance to discover hidden skills within your team. We provide a professional crew for the filming, but it is your skills and imagination which are responsible for all the ideas, scripts, acting and final edit! Whether it’s a short film or an advert to promote your company, this fun activity is likely to bring some amazing results. You will have to choose who will fill the following roles: director, producer, writers, actors, support crew and editors. Once this has been decided the teams will be given the theme and start on their masterpiece. This event can be themed to fit your requirements and even followed up with your own judging and awards dinner with nominations.

The Count of Monte Cristo Relive the epic journey of the count of Monte Cristo in this adventure packed day! The feature film “The Count of Monte Cristo” was shot on the Maltese islands in 2002. This day activities take place on the island of Comino and is set on the real locations used in the movie. On arrival to Comino, the Captain needs to be carried to the isolation hospital. Unfortunately, he passes away and Napoleon sends Edmond Dantes and friends away with a letter of instruction which leads them on an adventure they will never forget.
